FCY New York[1] is a semi-pro soccer team based in Buffalo, New York. The team currently plays in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) in the Premier Division[2]. The UPSL is a National Affiliate member of the United States Soccer Federation.
History
FCY New York's roots can be traced back to the Lackawanna Yemen Soccer Club[3] based in Lackawanna, New York, which has been serving the youth in the community since 1975. [4] and the men's teams Lackawanna FCY and Yemen Elite which participated in the premier division of the Buffalo District Soccer League[5] also known as the BDSL. Lackawanna FCY finished the season in second place. FCY New York began playing in the semi-pro based UPSL Premier Division of the UPSL in the 2021 season[6]
