FIGMENT is an American Techno producer based in Los Angeles, California.[1]DJ and host of The Not Figment Podcast.[2] He was named one of "5 Unique And Original Upcoming Techno Producers To Watch In 2020" by BuzzFeed[3] and one of the "Artists From the Electric Daisy Carnival also known as the EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon[4] Who Stole the Show" alongside Zhu, Voyd, Nicole Moudaber, and Claude VonStroke.[5] Figment was also the winner of Insomniac (promoter) Discovery Project[6] which took place during EDC's Virtual Rave-A-Thon, receiving more votes for his live performance than any other artist who participated.
Biography
Figment was born in Madrid, Spain and later moved to Los Angeles, California where he built a reputation as an artist who prefers to let the music do the talking. Just a few weeks after arriving in Los Angeles, California without any industry connections, he caught the attention of major promoters such as Insomniac who immediately started booking him for events at LA's flagship nightclubs Exchange and Academy.[7] His personal branding sets him apart as an artist who has used digital media to take his career into his own hands, building an audience of more than 100,000 followers on lnstagram.[8]He is a rare example of the modern-day artist who no longer needs to rely on anyone else for his success. He has quickly become one of the most popular and sought after DJs in Los Angeles, California.[9] The "Not Figment Podcast" has been streamed in more than 100 countries and is available on iTunes and anywhere podcasts can be found.[10]
