Facial Palsy UK is a small Peterborough-based United Kingdom charity funded by voluntary donations. It was set up in 2012 to fill a gap in provision of services for patients with facial palsy to ensure sound physical, emotional and psychological health.[1] It offers support to people affected by facial palsy due to any cause. It supports not only those with recognised conditions such as Bell's Palsy[2] and Ramsay Hunt syndrome but also those who do not fall within any recognised group and may therefore lack support.

It provides online support (including self-help videos[3] and downloadable guides [4]) as well as support groups and fund-raising to support research and training for professionals involved in the diagnosis, management and treatment of facial palsy. It holds an annual Facial Palsy Awareness Week in the first week of March.[2][5]

It has a Medical Advisory Board[6] made up of 37 (in 2023) practitioners from a range of professions of relevance to facial palsy (ear, nose and throat surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, ophthalmology, neurology, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, psychology, maxillofacial surgery, medical research and dentistry). The Medical Advisory Board provides input regarding the content on the website and advice leaflets based on clinical practice.

Its patrons[7] include Sir Paul McCartney. Its celebrity supporters[8] include actor Colin Salmon.
