The second season of Fairprice Family Cook Off (simplified Chinese: 平价妙厨家族大比拼) is a Singaporean culinary cookoff show in search for Singapore's next best family team of home cooks, sponsored by NTUC FairPrice and the Health Promotion Board. The programme was telecasted on two channels, on the Asian Food Channel and Starhub TV channel E City. It made its debut on 21 February 2012. The culinary cookoff will have 4 quarter-finals, 2 semi-finals and a grand final, and will be screened on every Tuesday night at 8:00 pm.
Synopsis[edit]
Hosted by celebrity couple, Evelyn Tan and Darren Lim, "FairPrice Family Cook Off" is the search for Singapore's best family of home cooks. The show engages families from all walks of life to appreciate the enjoyment of cooking together as a family and encourage them to pick up healthier recipes.

Quarter-finals[edit]
Over the coming weeks, 8 families consisting of four members each, will compete in a series of head-to-head cookoffs. Each week, two families led by a head cook, will compete in three cookoff rounds - the Signature Dish, the Healthy Recipe Makeover, and the Secret Ingredient Challenge. The families are given 20 minutes in each round to create their dishes. They will not only be racing against the clock, but also against each other to see who can create mouth-watering dishes and win the hearts of the judges. The team with the most points at the end of three rounds will go through to the semi-finals.

Cook, Vote & Win[edit]
Viewers can stand a chance to win amazing prizes in the Cook, Vote & Win competition. Each week, the top 8 families will be battling it out in the Family Cook Off kitchen cooking some mouth-watering dishes. They need to do is to watch the show, grab the recipe cards in-store at selected FairPrice stores or download them online and try cooking the recipes themselves and vote for their favourite recipe.
Differences between S1 and S2[edit]
There are many changes in the second season.
- The first season was broadcast on MediaCorp Channel 8. In the second season, it was broadcast on AFC and StarHub E City.
- The first season's intertitle was a cartoon showing a family cookoffing. The rest of the seasons will follow the logo of FairPrice's.
- The first season was hosted by Pornsak. The season was hosted by Darren Lim and Evelyn Tan.
- The venue of the first season was held at various places of Sentosa. The venue of the second season was held at the Rest House of Japanese Gardens.
