Dining with the Chef is a Japanese television cooking show which has aired on NHK World since 2011,[1] in which chefs demonstrate how to cook Japanese dishes for an international audience.
In 'Authentic Japanese Cooking' episodes, professional chef Tatsuo Saito demonstrates his recipes, with the help of host Yu Hayami. In 'Rika's Tokyo Cuisine' episodes, Rika Yukimasa demonstrates Japanese home cooking of the sort she makes for her family, with the help of host Patrick Harlan. In 'Cook Around Japan' episodes, one of the hosts travels to a different part of Japan and highlights regional cuisine of the area.
