History

Falcons FC earned initial recognition through Dehiwala-Mt.Lavinia Football League leading to appearances in major FFSL Tournaments. Due to league reforms in 2017, the club is currently operating under Maharagama-Homagama Football League and is the founding member of the specific league.
Colours and crest
Falcons FC's official colours are white and red. The red and white colours of the shirt extracted from the club's crest were first worn in Western Province U21 Championship in 2012/13 season and have since continued to feature every year. The club's most frequently used change colours have been navy blue and black. A navy blue home kit featuring the red and white stripes has also been used many times.
Club's crest features a giant white headed eagle in the left half guarding a red cross in the middle of a white background with a football at the bottom of the crest.
