History
FantaSea was founded in 1991. In 2005, the company hired Roxanne L. Passarella as in-house counsel, later becoming Vice President, then COO, and is currently CEO and President. The company currently owns Flagship Resort, La Sammana and the Atlantic Palace.[3]
FantaSea sold the Atlantic Palace to Bluegreen Corporation in 2008, but later repurchased the corporation. In 2015, FantaSea made plans to take advantage of the Atlantic Palace view.[4] In autumn of that year, construction began on a 2,000-square-foot, multi-million-dollar lobby bar.[5]
In June 2019, FantaSea was one of the sponsors of the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame.[6]
Atlantic Palace remains an associate resort accessible through Bluegreen.[7]
