Terminology[edit]
The term "Fanum Tax" originated from internet streamer Kai Cenat. Its origins are from YouTuber Fanum desiring food from Kai Cenat in a livestream, thus a tax of their food by Fanum; giving rise to the term "Fanum Tax".[2][1]
Use[edit]
The term is typically used for when one person desires food, or any type of object, from another. The term may also be used in an ironic nonsensical meaning, often paired with other internet memes.[2] It may also be used by some to satirize Generation Alpha's slang.[1]
