Fanvue is a social subscription platform built to empower all creators to share, earn and connect with their fans. [1] Creators monetize their brand to platform users - their fans - and offer services in exchange for a monthly subscription with the option for fans to unlock further content through tips and Pay-To-View (PTV) content. Launching in Q4 of 2021, the development of the platform in terms of functionality, design and userbase has experienced exponential growth and seems to have caught the eye of many creators.[2] With this growing popularity, the site caters for all creators as mainstream influencers appear to have made accounts right alongside the sex worker community.

Although the site is in its infancy, Fanvue is a promising competitor against other subscription platforms popping up, with the main 3 websites being OnlyFans, Fansly and Fanvue.[3]

History[edit]

Before Launch in October 2021, it's reported that Fanvue was in development for over a year with its initial funding, accomplishing just as much if not more than what competitors had achieved in a significantly shorter time frame. No one is questioning the incredible ability of the development team behind it all. In fact on Twitter, Fanvue can be seen to be frequently working with their creators to develop the features they want and love - truly a platform built by and designed for creators.

Shift Holdings Ltd[edit]

Shift Holdings Ltd, the company which owns Fanvue, was formed in July of 2020.[4]
