Faraz Zaidi is an American entrepreneur and fashion designer based in Morganville, New Jersey.[1][2][3] Faraz is known for founding Profound Aesthetic, a luxury fashion clothing and accessories brand based out of New York.[4] In February 2016, Faraz was featured in Time Magazine and described as a millennial entrepreneur.[1]
Early life and Career[edit]
Faraz Zaidi was born in Arif Wala Tehsil, East Pakistan and raised in Jamesburg, New Jersey, USA. In 2006, Faraz joined at the McGraw-Hill Education as a textbook designer while studying at the Rutgers University. In 2009, Faraz graduated from Rutgers University, in New Brunswick New Jersey and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Managerial Economics and Visual Arts along with a discipline in Social Psychology. In 2009, Faraz launched a clothing brand Profound Aesthetic, along with his cousins Iram Zaidi-Ahmed and Nabil Zaidi.[5][6] Faraz’s brand has been worn by Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Rihanna, all of whom helped to promote his brand internationally.[7][8]
In 2018, Faraz's company Profound Aesthetic partnered with PepsiCo to bring sports collection for men and women, which exhibited at SLS South Beach.[9]
