Farhad Ghafoor (Pashto: فرهاد غفور) (also spelled as Farhad Ghafour) is a singer from Afghanistan. He sings in Pashto and Persian. He lives at the moment in Kabul, Afghanistan, and runs an IT consultancy and wireless communications provider.
His debut album Hamwatan (Dari: My Countrymen) was released in 2007 by TriVision recording studios.

Biography
Farhad Ghafoor was born on June 1, 1965, in Afghanistan. Growing up, he was influenced by the many late and great singers of Afghanistan, such as Ahmad Zahir and Isaaq Baghlani. He attended the prestigious Lycee Esteqlal in Kabul and performed countless concerts, becoming well received by his peers. In the summer of 1990, Farhad Ghafoor started a long journey through many countries.
