Farmhut is the biggest Zimbabwean digital market for farmers that gives them access to premium markets and connects them directly to buyers, eliminating the middlemen complex.[6]
Farmhut supports women smallholder farmers to attain productivity and profitability. With over a third of the food grown by farmers never getting to the table, as that goes to food waste, Farmhut developed a smart market infrastructure that allows farmers to place their produce for sale before they even finish harvesting, ensuring that there are no losses that occur post-harvest due to lack of markets.[7]
