Farrah Alexander
Farrah Alexander is an American writer who is currently a columnist for the magazine Extol,[1] and has contributed to the Huffington Post,[2] and Scary Mommy.[3] She founded the website and blog fortheloveofwineandcoffee.com [4]
In 2016, she drew attention and controversy for her views regarding intellectual giftedness in an op-ed published in the Huffington Post titled "Maybe My Child Is Gifted. Maybe Not. Maybe It Doesn’t Matter."[5] Popular science writer and American psychologist Scott Barry Kaufman wrote about Alexander and the giftedness debate in Scientific American in a blog post titled "Does Giftedness Matter?"[6]
Her essay "How My Journey To Find God Brought Me To A Synagogue"[7] was originally published in the Huffington Post and has been re-published by hundreds of synagogues in the United States.[8]
Alexander participated in the 2017 Women's March.[9]
