Farzad Goodarzi (Persian: فرزاد گودرزی) is an Iranian-Polish Composer and university lecturer.
Farzad Goodarzi, born in Abadan (Iran), studied composition at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine Ukraine. (Master of Composition 1994–1999, PhD of Music 1999–2001).
He worked (2002–2008) as a university Faculty member at the University of Tehran.
Goodarzi also studied for a PhD in composition at the Gdansk Academy of Music (2005–2008) Poland, and continued his studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (Warsaw, Poland), where he graduated in 2011.
Farzad Goodarzi is one of the few composers experimenting simultaneously on the basis of European and Eastern music.
