Fatima Abdullahi Washa also known as Fati Washa or Tara Washa (born 21 February 1993) is a Nigerian film actress[1][2], she is considered as one of the most desirable actresses that carved a niche for herself in kannywood film industry[3]. For her role, Fati Washa was nominated as best supporting actress at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2014[4], she also received the best supporting actress award in 2015 Kannywood Awards.
Acting career
Fati Washa had an ambition of acting right from her childhood, she was inspired by most of the hausa movies she watched. Fatima joined kannywood film industry in 2010, she gained wide public recognition for starring in a blockbuster Hindu (An African Extra Vagrant)[5], a sensational movie directed by Yakubu Muhammed, She was featured in movies such as Blind House, Shu’uma, Ana Wata Ga Wata[6], Baya Da Kura, Gudun Tsira, Rariya, she appeared in those movies alongside with top kannywood stars such as Ali Nuhu, Nuhu Abdullahi, Sadiq Sani Sadiq and Rahama Sadau.
