Fatima High School is located in Vidyavihar, a suburb of Mumbai, India. It prepares students for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
The Primary section is recognized permanently by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation under letter No. SAA/3A1502 dated 30-11-61 but is unaided. The Secondary section is recognized and aided by the Government of Maharashtra under letter No.A-13/N/1206 dated 28-5-1981.The Fatima High School which has been established by the Capuchin Friars Minors Society, belonging to the Catholic Church, aims primarily at the education of the Catholic Community and the preservation of the Catholic faith and religious practices.[1]
Extra Curricular Activities[edit]
The school hosts a plethora of extracurricular activities for the overall development of a child. This includes poetry recitation and Elocution competition in Hindi, Marathi , Sanskrit Contests, GK quizzes etc. along with Sports activities like basketball, football, hockey, cricket to name a few.
