Fay Al Sharqawi (Arabic: في الشرقاوي, born October 29, 1975) is a Bahraini actress, broadcaster, and poet.
Biography[edit]
Al Sharqawi started her career as a child actress in the 1980s and appeared in many works produced in Bahrain and other Gulf states, including the 1999 Saudi series Aleawlama. Retiring temporarily from acting, she focused on hosting television shows and writing poetry. She returned to acting in 2010 with the series Banat Shamma and starred most notably in 2019 in the Emirati drama No Music in Ahmadi.
Personal life[edit]
Al Sharqawi's father is the poet Ali Al Shargawi, her mother is Fathia Ajlan (also a poet), and her sister Fouz is also an actress. She married Qatari actor and announcer Abdullah Albakri. They have a son named Rashid.[1]
