Najwa Elkebesi (Arabic: نجوى الكبيسي, born July 30, 1983) is a Qatari actress born in Bahrain.[2]
Biography[edit]
She made her acting debut in the 2006 TV series Junoon Al-Layl and continued acting in Gulf states productions for the next nine years. She was in trials to represent Qatar the 2004 Summer Olympics in 2003, but left to concentrate on her acting career. Her final role was in Law Enny A'ref Khatematy, in 2015.[3]
Personal life[edit]
Born to a Bahraini father and Qatari mother, she was engaged in 2014 to a prominent Gulf sheikh.[4] In January 2017, she announced her retirement from performing to focus on her family.
