Federal Right
Federal Right (Destra Federale, DF) was a conservative and federalist political party in Italy.[1]
The party was launched in October 2008 as a split from The Right.[2] Its leaders Stefano Morselli[3] and Paolo Casolari, both hailing from Emilia-Romagna, decided to leave that party because of its continued opposition to Silvio Berlusconi's fourth government and in order to join the centre-right coalition.
Morselli, who was a member of the Italian Parliament for National Alliance in 1994–2008,[4][5] was an unsuccessful candidate for mayor of Bologna in 2009.[6]
