The Federal University Kashere (FUK) Library is an academic library primarily meant to support the scholarly activities of students and staff of the institution.[1]
History[edit]
Federal University Kashere is among the federal universities established during the administration of Godluck Jonathan.[2] The library was also established at the same time the institution was established. It kick off in the temporary building before it relocated to its permanent building.
Structure[edit]
The library is a two-story building located in a central position of the institution, where it is accessible to anyone within the institution. The divisions or units in the library include:
- Technical Service division
- Reader Service Division
- System and Multimedia Division
- Reference and Information Services Division
- Serials Management
Collections[edit]
The library has a collection of printed books, Journal publications, databases of e-journals and e-books, reference sources, government publications and periodicals.[3]
