Fedro Gaudenzi
Fedro Gaudenzi is a bespoke tailoring house established in 2016 and located on Cork Street in London. The company specializes in luxury and contemporary tailoring and is a member of the Savile Row Bespoke Association.[1][2]
History
In 2016, the company was founded by Fedro Gaudenzi in a 150-square-foot workroom in Lambeth, London, with Gaudenzi managing all aspects of the business. In 2018, the atelier moved to a 16th-century space in Soho Square, operating exclusively by appointment.[3]
By 2023, the atelier relocated to Cork Street in Mayfair, placing it closer to luxury retail hubs such as Bond Street and Savile Row.[4][5] Gaudenzi's designs combines structured British shoulders with the softer, more fluid lines of Italian tailoring. His atelier houses a collection of over 13,000 fabrics, including rare materials such as albino vicuña and lotus flower fabric.[6]
In 2023, Fedro Gaudenzi also signed an open letter to the UK Chancellor, advocating for the reinstatement of the VAT rebate for international tourists.[7] In early 2024, a high-value bespoke item valued at £12,000 was reported stolen from the atelier.[8] In September 2024, Fedro Gaudenzi became an Associate Member of the Savile Row Bespoke Association.[9]
Services
Fedro Gaudenzi offers bespoke tailoring services, including custom suits and couture gowns. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company introduced tailored loungewear, such as tracksuits.[10][11]
British newspaper City A.M.'s coverage of the "resilience of traditional suits" highlighted Gaudenzi's fusion of classical tailoring with modern demands.[12] Similarly, ITV News documented how Fedro Gaudenzi addressed the rising demand for "stay-at-home chic" during lockdowns.[10]
