Felix De Bona (born February 26, 1993) is a Brazilian-born American soccer player who plays as a Forward or Striker. De Bona attended Somerville High School in Somerville, MA and later Boston University in Boston, MA from 2013-2017. De Bona graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Relations. De Bona married his wife, Julliane De Bona, in 2013.[1]
Career
College career
De Bona played as a striker during his four years at Boston University in Boston, MA. During his spell with BU, De Bona managed to score 23 goals and record 5 assists with the Terriers. During his breakout junior year, De Bona received the honors of 2015 NSCAA All-Region First Team, 2015 Patriot League All-Conference First Team, and 2x Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week (11/2/15, 8/31/15). In his senior year, De Bona also received 2016 All-Region (Third Team) and 2016 All-Patriot League (Second Team) honors after starting in all 17 games.[2]
Professional career
On April 2017, De Bona signed with Ekenäs IF.[3] In his first season, De Bona played 26 games while scoring 14 goals and recording 4 assists. De Bona finished the season as joint top scorer of the Ykkonën with Kalle Multanen.[4]
In the 2018 season, De Bona returned to Ekenäs IF. De Bona made 10 appearances, but only managed to score 1 goal and 2 assists. During the transfer window, De Bona left Ekenäs IF and joined FF Jaro on a free transfer. De Bona has played 11 games, scored 3 goals and made 2 assists with FF Jaro. [5]
