Felix Nieder (pronounced [ˈfeːlɪks ˈniːdɐ]; born May 29, 1993) is a German model and author. He became known for being nominated for GQ Man of the Year 2021 and he is the most booked male model in Germany since 2022.[2]

Childhood and private life[edit]
Nieder was born in Elmshorn in 1993.[3] In 2013, he graduated from the Elsa-Brändström-High School. In 2014 he began studying law at the University of Hamburg but left before completing his degree.
Since 2021: modeling career[edit]
In 2021, Nieder was nominated by the men's magazine GQ Germany as the Man of the Year, which gave him his first major exposure.[5] Since then, he has worked for fashion brands such as Dawid Tomaszewski, Guido Maria Kretschmer, Otto, and Marcel Ostertag. Nieder gained further attention when he walked the runway during the German Fashion Week in 2022 in a bridal skirt by Dawid Tomaszewski, holding up the sign "Love is Love".[6] Since 2022, he is the most booked male model in Germany.
In February 2023, Nieder's life was featured in the show DAS! on NDR and ARD, highlighting his experiences with bullying due to his homosexuality.[7] He is known as "The Gender-fluid Model" for his fluid approach to fashion between the sexes.[8] In January 2023, Nieder announced his biography "Als mein Schwules Ich starb: Die Wiedergeburt eines jungen Mannes in die queere Welt zwischen Homophobie, Outing und Pink Washing", to be published by Komplett-Media on August 2, 2023.[9]
