Sebastian Weißschnur (born 1979 in Hamburg)[1] is a German non-fiction author. His main topics are political science, business administration, tax policy, and macroeconomics, in particular intervention measures to address the challenges in EU member states.[2]
Education[edit]
Sebastian Weißschnur graduated with a diploma and a bachelor's degree in business administration and completed advanced training in finance and economics, including at Harvard Business School.[3]
Books and publications[edit]
Against the background of numerous aid projects on topics such as hunger, medical care and education in Africa, Weißschnur published the book Fundraising gegen Hungerkrisen (Fundraising against Hunger Crises) in 2012 with the specialist publisher Springer VS.[4]
In the same year, the author published the book Finanzprodukte in Zeiten der Vertrauenskrise (Financial Products in Times of Crisis of Confidence) with Diplomica Verlag.[5][6]
In 2021, the trade publisher Springer Nature published Weissschnur's English-language book The Proportionality of State Intervention through its imprint Palgrave MacMillan.[7] Bankmagazin featured the title as "Book Tip of the Month" in February 2022.[8] The work was included in the European Parliament Library Catalogue.[9]
In mid-2022, Wiley-VCH published Weißschnur's guidebook Occupational Disability Insurance for Dummies as a "Custom pub" as part of its globally successful For Dummies series.[10]
