Fermín López Marín (born 11 May 2003) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a Forward for Barcelona Atlètic.
Club career[edit]
Born in El Campillo, Huelva, Fermín is a player who was trained in El Campillo's youth academy until 2011, and later, in the youth categories of Recreativo de Huelva during the 2011-12 season, and Real Betis from 2012 to 2016, during his early development stages. In the 2016-17 season, Fermín joined La Masia to be part of Futbol Club Barcelona's U-14 team and progressed through the ranks until the 2021-22 season when he became a member of the U-19 team (Juvenil "A"), winning the double of Liga División de Honor and Copa de Campeones.
Once his formative years concluded, in 2022, he renewed his contract with FC Barcelona for two more seasons until 2024. On August 18, 2022, he was loaned to Linares Deportivo in the Spanish Primera Federación.
Fermín made his debut for Barcelona's first team in a 5-3 defeat against Arsenal F.C.. On July 29, 2023, he scored a goal and provided an assist in the overwhelming 3-0 victory over Real Madrid CF.
