Festicket is a U.K.-based festival and travel experiences platform, launched by Zack Sabban and Jonathan Younes.[1] The website provides booking options for event tickets alongside accommodation, transfers, upgrades and other extras, primarily for music festivals.[2]
Alongside booking, the Festicket website offers a Festicket Guide to festivals around the world, an online Festicket Magazine and a Festival Finder tool.[3] The Festival Finder is an integration with Spotify which offers users recommendations based on their favourite Spotify artists.[4] Festicket also offers users the option to pay for their ticket and travel in instalments, with a deposit paid to reserve the ticket.[5]
The headquarters of the company are in London with local offices in San Francisco, Amsterdam, Berlin and Porto.[6]
History
The company was founded in London by Zack Sabban (CEO), Jonathan Younes (CPO) and Jerome Elfassy.[7]
As of November 2018, Festicket is partnered with over 1,200 festivals worldwide and has a network of over 4,000 accommodation and travel suppliers to create end-to-end experiences for its users.[8] The company has served over 2 million festival fans from over 100 countries.[9]
Festicket opened its first office in the United States in September 2018.[10] It also announced that it had signed a number of festivals in Australia and New Zealand.[11]
Festicket closed a Series D round of $10.5m in November 2018, followed by a separate Series E round led by Edge Investments in February 2019.[12][13]
