Fidelitatem et Constantiam

Fidelitatem et Constantinam (Latin „Fidelity and Stability”) – words, which Augustus II the Strong has attributed Lublin with. Described in a privilege given to the city in 1703. The Majesty King has offered this entitlement in relation to the attitude of citizens in Lublin, who supported him during the Great Northern War. Lublin has been equalized in rights to be in align with Cracow.

This motto (in denominator, "Fidelitas et Constantia") has been recognized by the City Council on the 29th of December 2010 as one of the new symbols of the city and its Authorities.
