FileCloud

FileCloud is a private cloud file storage and synchronization software.[1] Files stored in the private cloud can be shared or edited, including documents and spreadsheets, presentations which use Microsoft Office and Outlook.[2] FileCloud was launched on July 25, 2012.

Storage[edit]

Local storage space can be used to store files with FileCloud or Amazon S3, OpenStackor any object based storage can be utilized.[3] On Dec 21, 2015, it was announced that FileCloud supports Microsoft Azure File Storage as a back-end storage. [4]

Client[edit]

FileCloud is downloadable for clients that includes mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry),[5] and desktops (Windows, Mac OS X and Ubuntu. A virtual drive client is also available.[6]

Third-party software components can be used to operate on the online and offline files on FileCloud.[7]
