Fingerling (finger accessory)
Fingerlings are a fashion accessory worn on the finger. They are made from textiles such as denim or cotton, as an alternative to traditional metal rings.
Fingerlings were invented by Tyler Campbell in 2008, whilst he was 6 years old. With the help of Campbell's business partner and stepfather, Jason Weber, fingerlings were sold online and at Dadeland Mall, Miami. In 2010 Weber presented fingerlings in the Elevator Pitch Contest at the University of Miami’s Launch Pad entrepreneurship center. Campbell won the Grand Prize in the community category.[1]
