The company operates the business into four parts: Debt Purchases, Due Diligence Underwriting, Loan Servicing and Management and Debt Obligation Negotiation and Resolution.[3] In May 2013, Värde Partners, Inc. finished the acquisition of FirstCity Financial Corporation.[4]
