First Eleven is a British specialist magazine for parents of children at independent schools.

Overview[edit]

Conceived by Charlotte Noel of C N Education an education consultancy firm founded in 2013. Charlotte Noel, a mother of three children, frustrated at the lack of information available for parents on education, finance, medical and leisure successfully launched the magazine in 2006.

First Eleven is published to coincide with the school terms. According to its producers, its remit "is to inform, inspire and to provide insight."[1]

First Eleven was sold to Paul Dobson of the niche publishing company The Chelsea Magazine Company and is now called Independent School Parent. Since 2009 First Eleven has been published by The Chelsea Magazine Company, an independent publisher situated on Sloane Street, Chelsea, London, who also produce Cruise International, Classic Boat, Britain and Military Times.
