First Light Magazine
First Light Magazine is a fully digital and interactive astronomy magazine. Entirely interactive, it is the first[citation needed] astronomy magazine specifically designed for tablets. The magazine is produced by a team of experienced scientific journalists. Each issue contains reports, interviews, investigative pieces, and decoding of recent findings and developments. It offers readers advice about observations, for all levels, as well as independent tests of equipment carried out both in actual sky watching and in professional laboratories.
Its editorial columnist is cosmologist George Smoot.
The magazine is published in English every two months by the French Association of Astronomy. Its first issue was published November 7, 2014.
The digital edition is built using the Aquafadas digital publishing platform.[1]
