Five Musicians (also known as FM) was a demo group / netlabel with origins in the demoscene. It was active between the years 1995 and 2000. The policy of limiting the group to only five members made the group very selective. As a result, they produced a number of very high-quality releases, and became one of the most influential early netlabels.[citation needed] The first FM FTP-server became what is known today as scene.org.
