FlannelJax's (pronounced Flannel-Jacks) is a Canadian Axe Throwing franchise headquartered in Mississauga, ON, with a location in St. Paul, Minnesota. FlannelJax's offers urban axe throwing with a variety of other competitive games for a premium entertainment experience. FlannelJax's hosts social events (such as birthday parties, wedding showers, and bachelor/bachelorette parties), corporate and various team building events, and axe throwing leagues. It is the sister company of Metal Supermarkets, which is, cut to the customers desired size.[1] [2]

FlannelJax's was founded by the ownership group of Metal Supermarkets Franchise Family of Companies, an established Canadian franchise focused on selling small quantity metals with an over 30 year history in franchising. The ownership group was attracted to the growing premium adult sports industry where anyone is able participate and compete in a fun, social environment. [3] FlannelJax's first location opened on April 20, 2018 within Prior Works at 755 Prior Ave in St. Paul. On June 27, 2018, the St. Paul City Council approved a liquor license for FlannelJax's.[4]

FlannelJax's Experience[edit]

FlannelJax's offers a variety of games including Axe Throwing, Cross-cut Sawing, and Thump the Stump. These games are facilitated and supervised by highly-trained Lumberjacks and Lumberjills.[5] In addition, FlannelJax's is fully liquor licensed and serves canned beer, wine, and cocktails to compliment axe throwing sessions. FlannelJax's operates on a walk-in or pre-booked basis and sessions range from 1-2 hours with a personal coach. All participants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the games.
