Flashcard Ninja

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Flashcard Ninja is a smartphone app to enhance teaching & learning. The app targets four user groups: creators, educators, learners, and parents. It was created by 7ition Limited in early 2020 and released to the public in May 2020.

Flashcard Ninja enhances learning via flashcards. Users can use pre-loaded flashcards, download flashcards from the app's integrated store, or create flashcards. Users who create flashcards can also choose to share them with specific users or upload them to the store for the use of all Flashcard Ninja users. Users can create double-sided flashcards that can include audio, images, video, and/or text. Each card automatically includes a canvas that allows the user to take notes, draw freely, or trace the front of the card. Users can keep score and choose to review cards that were answered incorrectly. Flashcards can be created in any language, and the appearance of sets can be customized.

Flashcard Ninja is a free app that has no in-app purchases. Flashcard sets on the integrated store can be downloaded for free.

Development[edit]

7ition's founder developed the app in 3 months during the COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic. The development of the app was prompted by the need for a homeschooling resource owing to school closures.
