Flat Top Apparel (FTA) is an online apparel company developed out of Biloxi, MS, United States, owned by a current active duty member of the armed forces of the United States. It aims at providing light and refreshing military and veteran themed apparel that doesn't require its target audience to be "Grunts"[1] or "Rangers"[2]. It provides 25% of all profits to support US Veterans who are dealing with food security.

History

The company was founded in February 2020 by active duty Air Force Officer Training School graduate Joshua Fairbank. During the COVID-19 Pandemic he realized he wanted to start spending his downtime on a project that helps his fellow veterans. With a strong background in web development and graphic design, he had the knowledge, and now the time to do something to help. While residing within the United States Air Force, he realized there wasn't a strong presence of military and veteran apparel that targeted those that weren't considered boots on the ground.

Marketing

The Flat Top Apparel brand uses humor, current trends, and political neutrality to help appeal to a wider audience. They work closely with Feed Our Vets[3] to provide food security for US Veterans in need.
