Flighthouse
- @Chris troutman: Hey Chris, thanks for the feedback. Apologies for the delay in responding; I've been mega swamped with work, but I'm determined to learn Wikipedia's guidelines better and come back with an improved article, or rather, a different article that may be more notable. I am going to research WP:GNG and WP:42 in more detail before editing the article and coming back. Thanks for the feedback. Grimothy29 (talk) 15:34, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
- @LittlePuppers: Hey there, that's what I thought. However, when creating this article I referenced a few other similar articles to see how they were written, such as Loren Gray, and while it doesn't mention "according to Wikipedia", I did see that it mentions her being the third largest account on the platform. I was hesitant to throw that in there, though, as it seemed irrelevant given that there was no article to cite it on top of that. I have taken it out, though. - @Grimothy29: I don't know which article you found that on (I haven't really looked), but the general guide is that if you want to cite something on Wikipedia, find the source that article uses and cite that. (Granted, if there isn't one, you can't really do that.) LittlePuppers (talk) 18:07, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
- @LittlePuppers: Got it — that's what I thought. I will look into this a bit more. Grimothy29 (talk) 19:22, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

Flighthouse is an American global digital media brand with a focus on short-form mobile content based in Los Angeles, California.[1][2][3] Flighthouse was founded in 2015 as a music discovery channel that remixed songs on musical.ly, the lip-sync video app that merged with TikTok in 2018.[4][5] Flighthouse was acquired by Create Music Group in 2017.[2][6] In March 2020, Flighthouse was named one of Fast Company’s 10 most innovative social media companies of 2020.[7]
The agency side of Flighthouse, Flighthouse Media, consults with labels and brands, including Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, Capitol Records, Interscope Records, on how to use TikTok to generate attention for music acts and products.[8][9][5]
History
Flighthouse was launched on musical.ly (now TikTok) in 2015, originally creating remixes of popular songs on its page.[10][11] The company was acquired by Create Music Group, an American music company, in 2017.[6][9]
In 2018, Flighthouse branched out to create a marketing agency called Flighthouse Media.[12] Flighthouse Media works with record labels to promote music on TikTok through the use of an in-house creative team and network of influencers.[5]
