Fm Vybz
Nyakahuma Patrick James (born 23 November 1998), better known by his stage name Fm Vybz, is a Ugandan reggae dancehall singer, songwriter and journalist. During his journey as Fm Vybz, he was discovered by PM Music Publishing Ltd.

Early life
Fm Vybz was born and raised in Fort Portal Town, but has family roots in Kyenjojo Town. He attended his primary level at Light Star Day and Boarding School in Kyenjojo Town and his secondary level at Nyakasura School in Fort Portal, Makerere Collage and St. Michael International School in Kampala, Uganda. After high school level, Fm Vybz attended journalism training at Kampala International University.
Music career
Fm Vybz's first musical inspirations stemmed from his mother's religious background. He sang in her church choir at the age of 10 and at the age of 15 began writing lyrics inspired by listening to Jamaican reggae dancehall musicians and singers like Vybz Kartel, Alkaline, Konshens, Chronixx, Tarrus Riley, Damian Marley, Protoje, Busy Signal and Sean Paul.
Fm Vybz started his musical career at the tender age of 18 and in 2018, he was discovered and branded the name "Fm Vybz" by Promoter Musa, whom he met as a friend in Kampala. He helped him launch his talent on the music scene which spawned musical confidence and Fm Vybz begun to record more good music.
In May 2018, Fm Vybz released his debut single titled Fetuliko. The song is a fusion of dancehall.
On 23 November 2018, Fm Vybz released "Roll It Gyal". The audio was produced by Herbert Skillz and ran for 3 minutes and 15 seconds.
On 19 May 2019, Fm Vybz released "Crush" which contains dancehall afro beats, also produced by Herbert Skillz. The song got daily plays on Uganda's biggest radio stations like Radiocity 97FM, Radio4 103.3 Fm, Galaxy Fm 100.2 and other radio stations across Uganda. Surprisingly it managed to cross borders and played in outside countries like Australia on radios like 3RRR Fm. The song managed to top Ugandan music charts on online streaming and downloading platforms like Eachamps, HowweBiz, Ugamusic and many more. This song opened doors for Fm Vybz in terms of building a fan base.
