Funding[edit]
Fokoya is a seed stage startup and raised 1.1 million dollars from investors in their initial round of funding.[3]
Blockium[edit]
Blockium was launched in 2018 and is the first product of Fokoya. Blockium is a mobile app in which users enter into financial trading competitions that allow each participant to choose several assets.[4] Over the course of an allotted time slot, the user whose assets rise the most wins the competition.[5] Blockium uses a peer-to-peer system, meaning that users of the app trade against other users in real time[6]. The several users whose portfolios experience the most growth during the contest receive a portion of prize money.[7]
