Folasade Omotoyinbo Bosede is a Nigerian aesthetician and beautician.[1] She is the recipient of the City People Entertainment Awards for Best Skincare Brand in 2020.[2]

Early life and education[edit]

Omotoyinbo is from and was born in Ekiti State.[3][4] She has a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration from the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic. After her higher institution education, she worked with the Ekiti state Broadcasting Service for ten years.[2] She moved to the UK and studied Aesthetics at the London Academy of Beauty.[5]

Career[edit]

Following her return from the UK, Omotoyinbo began her cosmetology brand Poshglow in Lagos in 2017.[6][7] In 2020, she built the Poshglow Beauty School.[8][9][10] Nollywood actresses Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Bukunmi Oluwasina, and her daughter Avia are ambassadors of the brand.[11][12] The company focuses on African herbal and traditional beauty and cosmetic solutions.[1][13] It has 30 products.[14] She emphasizes on the dangers of products made from artificially sourced ingredients, building her brand based solely on products whose ingredients are naturally sourced and herbal.[15][5] She is an advocate for organic skincare outputs caramel and retinol.[16][17] This endeavours earned her the City People Entertainment Awards “Skincare brand of the Year” and the City People Female Entrepreneurs Award “Entrepreneur of the Year”.[1] She routinely gives puts out skin care procedures.[18] She is managed by Laerryblue.

Philanthropy[edit]

Omotoyinbo created a foundation, in collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation to provide for orphans, people with special needs, the disabled and the less privileged in Lagos.[3] She equipped over 300 youths with gift donations and skill trainings.[19]
