Follow No One is an international rock act, comprised of Rich Hall (Lead Vocals, Songwriting, Keyboards) and Pedro Murino Almeida (Guitars, Assorted Composition, Vocals). Hall is American, while Pedro is of Portuguese descent. Hall is also known under his stage persona: The Last Rich Hall.[1]
History
Hall began performing live at a young age, performing in various musical and theatrical productions throughout his youth. Active in music since the age of 13, Hall has performed and recorded with several acts. Almeida was born in Portugal, later attending the University of Sheffield, where he was trained in classical composition and obtained several degrees in music, among them his master's. His compositional work outside of Follow No One has been featured in film and video alike.[2] After moving to Sao Paulo, Brazil, Almeida came into contact with Rich Hall after the former had posted an advert looking for musicians to assist in a rock music-based project. The two shared a love for rock and roll, and this prompted Rich to assist him in the recording of a song. This song was to become Follow No One's first single, "Guardian Angel".
Throughout 2017, the duo would release several singles, culminating in the release of their debut EP, 5 on September 15.[3] Four of the songs on the release, including "Guardian Angel" were released in advance as singles, with an accompanying music video for "The Greatest Sin" coming out to promote both the single and 5. This was followed up by the 2018 release of their cover of the David Bowie track "I'm Afraid of Americans".
