Follow The Light is the fourth studio album from Belfast rock band Silent Running, released in 2022.
Background[edit]
In January 2018, the band reunited for the first time in twenty years for a band member's wife's birthday event. After this the band started rehearsing together and in June 2019 played to a sold-out crowd at Belfast Venue 'Voodoo'. Lead singer and songwriter Peter Gamble has stated that he feels the album is their best to date. [1]
Release[edit]
Follow The Light was released by Door Records as digital download & limited edition CD through Bandcamp on the 1st April 2022, as well all streaming platforms. The album is due for general release by Door Records on the 22nd July 2022.
Promotion[edit]
Music videos were created & filmed for the singles "Lost Boy"[2], "Live Right Now" [3] and "Beyond Your Wildest Dreams".[4]
Darkest Hour[edit]
The single Darkest Hour was released on the 30th March 2022 as a digital download through Bandcamp in aid of the British Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal with all profits from the download going to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. [5]
