Food Categories (Unani)
Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". There are 18 categories for food, according to Unani medicine. They are divided in terms of three factors: 1- Digestablity 2- Delivered energy 3- State of chyme
Examples of foods regarding these factors are:
1- Digestable, low energy, juicy chyme: apple, celery
2- Digestable, medium energy, juicy chyme: fresh bread
3- Digestable, high energy, juicy chyme: fresh partridge
4- Indigestable, low energy, juicy chyme: fresh cheese
5- Indigestable, medium energy, juicy chyme: fresh veal
6- Indigestable, high energy, juicy chyme: sunny side up egg
7- Semi-digestable, low energy, juicy chyme: boiled turnips
8- Semi-digestable, medium energy, juicy chyme: young camel
9- Semi-digestable, high energy, juicy chyme: lamb
10- Digestable, low energy, withering chyme: onion
11- Digestable, medium energy, withering chyme: Unleavened bread
12- Digestable, high energy, withering chyme: young dove
13- Indigestable, low energy, withering chyme: stale meat, eggplant
14- Indigestable, medium energy, withering chyme: cabbages
15- Indigestable, high energy, withering chyme: beef
16- Semi-digestable, low energy, withering chyme: yellow carrot
17- Semi-digestable, medium energy, withering chyme: smoked fish
18- Semi-digestable, high energy, withering chyme:kohlrabi
As such, eggplants are unuseful and an apple is the best fruit.
