Features[edit]

Video technology[edit]

FDS primarily uses HTML with camera to record videos. The videos are added through the add button. Once a video is there, it's viewed to watch on phones and tablets. Since, then it become cloud based due to Bubble.io being different than what came before.

Uploading[edit]

All FDS Users can upload up to 40 seconds per video. They must fit into the categories listed.

Quality and formats[edit]

FDS shoots video in 4K, as that's how episodic videos on FDS platform work and operate. However, HD videos are used on FDS channel, to help users with problems, that presented in front of them.

User features[edit]

Comments[edit]

Users can leave comments on each other profiles. This is common amongst females, and they chat about whatever.

Videos[edit]

In February 2022, video tests were made prior to release, to make sure that the platform, worked correctly. The Categories that were shown, in the advertisement was the following, Nail Polish, Trans Rights, Trans Issues, Makeup and Crossdressing. No other categories were added until a couple of days later. This was explained to include, Feminism, Math and Science. Anything related to being a man and casting spells were banned, until the Bad Actors situation was totally resolved. On April 3, 2022 you can upload videos including Masculine and Witchcraft. Meaning, you can show both your Masculine and Feminine sides. If you are a witch, you can show off your spells and charms. Several Hours later that same day, Humor, Writing and Goth have been added. Videos would be 2 - 7 uploads a day. This depends on Time, Weather, Location etc. This means on average, you would be watching 1 - 4 minutes of content.

Views are under the video. There you can see how many watched your video.

Subscribers doesn't exist, in the same way as YouTube, or most platforms. The count is rated by Stars.

You can see this on your profile. To see likes, you go to best rated, and underneath you will see how many likes you have.

Copyright issues[edit]

Most of this should be original content. However, you can upload content that's fair use.

Content ID[edit]

There's no copyright ID system. There's an approval and deny system holding potentially horrible content as pending. Keeping anyone from uploading, unless the videos are proven to have no horrible content in the video.

Moderation and offensive content[edit]

To get rid of content, that violates the rules, a no symbol button is used to report the user, who uploads offensive content. This is only used to get rid of bad actors, who are out to hurt people.

I'm not allowing that on my platform.

— Kristopher Wright

As of February 21, 2022, the app added in approve/deny. If one gets approved they are free to access the app. Meaning that they can upload videos, play games etc. If one is denied however, they can't lie to users with their videos. Photos are automatically held for review.

Political Content[edit]

All forms of political content are allowed on Food Dye Studios. Weather its traditional, or progressive it's allowed on there.

April Fools gags[edit]

You can do April Fools Videos on the platform. The only kind of Humor, that isn't allowed are harmful pranks. That's why Pranks are labeled as Humor. To keep the pranks light hearted, and funny to watch.

Services[edit]

Suseteer[edit]

This is upcoming app that's currently in development.

Social impact[edit]

Food Dye Studios has grown alot since 2013. This is because, most people were unaware of Food Dye Studios, when it was "Magic Ring Cartoon". This became more known, in the following years. In 2014, it did grow slightly, with some hearing of Super T, but not much significance. It grow further in 2015, with alot more controversy. This is where kids got into trouble at school. 2016, focused not to heavly on 2015 film. This improved with a hidden side story. This was liked by audiences with significant grow. 2018, is when the website was struggling, with only 6 People viewing it. This is when people were calling for a ban. This got worse in 2019 and 2020. It improved alot during 2021. This grow quickly very early in 2022.

Finances[edit]

Prior to 2022, Food Dye Studios had no ads. This is noted as "No interest in monetization". This is because, Food Dye Studios doesn't do this for money. This is something that is a hobby, and done for the fun of making videos. When, Start.io made in advertisement to publish the app. Then, it was finally monetize on, February 22, 2022. However, that changed when App Creator 24 changed its policy.

If Food Dye Studios got built, its money would come from people purchasing projects at Food Dye Studios headquarters.

FDS Earnings[edit]

In February 2022, FDS launched its ad program, through Start.io which allows the app to share the revenue produced by advertising on the app. FDS takes 2 percent of the advertising revenue from the app in the ad program, with 98 percent going to the people advertising their products.

In the near future, FDS would be making money from people purchasing FDS products from its headquarters.

Revenue to Copyright Holders[edit]

The Majority of Ads are products from Apple. This can include articles, ads to publish something etc. Videos themselves don't need ads to be uploaded. You can still upload videos like you normally do.

Censorship and bans[edit]

FDS allows most kinds of content, both images and videos. Users can even comment on each others profiles, images and videos. However, some content is banned off the platform. This includes the following topics: Porn/Nudity and Filmmaking. The reason being is that people upload very gross content and make bad films. What FDS considers lying is intentionally lying, not if you believe that's true, or being wrong about something. As they always room for correction and improvement.
