Footgoal.pro is an international association football research and analysis website founded in 2020.

The website focuses primarily on European football, in particular the deep analytics-based research articles.

History[edit]

The website was founded in May 2020, by a group of football enthusiasts. The website initially focused on Top 5 European Football Leagues players, but gradually expanded to include deep analysis based research articles. It shared some notable articles, such as the richest football clubs[1] and top followed football clubs on social media.

In 2020, FootGoal shared a unique of its kind football research article, 100 Most Searched Footballers on Google in 2020, later also publishing 100 Most Searched Football Clubs in the world, based on the most searched and/or official version of each footballer or club name on Google.

In 2021, the website had a special section dedicated the EURO 2020[2][3], sharing everything regarding the tournament, including the squads, fixtures, stadiums and host cities, etc.

The website is also working on the World Cup 2022, creating special section and pages for it. The page "World Cup Winners" is already shared widely.
