Forever, Interrupted is an upcoming television drama series from A24 and Netflix. It is an adaptation of the 2013 novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid of the same name. Margaret Qualley and Laura Dern are attached to star.

Premise

Married following a whirlwind romance, Elsie is suddenly widowed and has to meet her husband's grieving mother, who did not previously know of her.[1]

Production

In May 2024, it was reported that Julia Bicknell was adapting the 2013 novel Forever, Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid, with Bicknell also the showrunner on the series. Reid is executive producer on the project alongside Jessica Rhoades, Alison Mo Masey, Brad Mendelsohn, Jayme Lemons, Brett Hedblom and Laura Dern and Margaret Qualley, who are attached to star.[2]
