Forgeside

Forgeside (also Forge Side or Ger-yr-Efail) is an area of Blaenavon, Torfaen.
It has a long history due to the Forgeside Ironworks started in the 1830s. However the works were abandoned in 1841, and wasn't restarted until 1860.
In sports it is represented by Forgeside AFC (football) and Forgeside RFC (rugby).
