Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is the main law enforcement agency in Fort Bend County, Texas.[1][2][3] The current sheriff is Troy Nehls. The office was established along with the county in 1838.[4] It is headquartered in Richmond, Texas.[5]

Over the years, nine deputies have died while on duty, mostly due to traffic accidents.[6]

The Office is organized into a number of bureaus and divisions. These include:
