Foston Musik is a Nigerian record label founded in 2014. The label is notable for signing one of Nigeria's most popular and fast rising dancehall artiste, Patoranking.[1]
History[edit]
In February 2014, the label officially signed a recording contract with Patoranking.[2] Patoranking had previously been affiliated with Dem Mama Records, under which he had recorded and released his hit single 'Alubarika' featuring Timaya. His abrupt signing to Foston Musik caused some rancour with Timaya, the label head of Dem Mama records.[3] Under Foston Musik, Patoranking has released 3 songs: Girlie O, Girlie O (Remix) Featuring Tiwa Savage and Happy Day.
