Frank Walker
Franklin "Frank" Walker is a American Police Officer most famous for being directly involved in the Poulan Police Scandal. In 2022, he reportedly wrote multiple false police reports to help his Police Chief conceal several thefts from the Poulan Police Evidence Locker and the transferring of a firearm from the evidence locker to a convicted family violence offender in violation of numerous ATF rules and federal statutes[1][2][3][4]. He reportedly retired, according to official statements made by the police department[3][4].
Early Life
Almost nothing is known about Walker's early life. According to multiple statements made by former officers, a public data dump of whistleblower information, and a book written about events at Poulan Police; Walker claims to have been a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps[1][2][4]. There is no official documentation to corroborate this claim, and several former officers have expressed concern of Walker's supposed military service[4][5][6][7].
Career
Walker was employed as the Assistant Chief of the Poulan Police Department during the height of the Poulan Police Scandal. On record in both written statements and audio recordings of him; he has offered bribes to other officers to influence their desire to report the Police Chief's crimes[2][4], as well as contributing his own false police reports to assist the Police Chief, Larry Whisenant, in covering up multiple felonies by himself and Walker[1][4]. He has expressed virulent attitudes in non-private text messages that were publicly leaked in a data dump by a podcaster[1][5][4]. Walker, in multiple audio recordings, has claimed that he has direct connection to members of the GA POST Council, namely: Sheriff Andy Hester (elected Sheriff of Turner County, Georgia)[1][2][4].
During a wrongful termination lawsuit brought by a former employee, he retired from law enforcement[4]. It is not known if he is employed with any law enforcement agency in the United States. According to both documentation by the police department, former officers, and public statements made by the police department; Frank Walker enforced Larry Whisenant's citation and arrest quota upon officers who were employed by the Poulan Police Department[3]. When two officers refused to comply and then attempted to report both Whisenant's and Walker's criminal activities, both officers employment with the City of Poulan was immediately ended[1][2][3][4].
Personal Life
Little is known about Walker's personal life, but the leaked data dump of the case file that Officers Zackery Watson and John Masters kept in regards to Walker's and Whisenant's illegal activity reveal text messages from Walker with severe implications of his personal opinions.[1][2][4][5][6][7][8].
